Geomembrane is made from three kinds of resins and its raw materials are HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE. Parameters, characteristics and applications were introduced through the analysis about their molecular structure, density, crystalline, softening point, corrosion resistance, temperature range, mechanical properties, tensile strength, break elongation, environmental stress crack resistance(see table No.1),industrial production principle and engineering, additives.
Polyethylene is one of five composite resins; it is with largest production capacity and most import capacity of all composite resin. At present, China became the biggest country of import and the second country of consumption out of all countries. Polyethylene is polymerized by vinyl monomer. Polyethylene plastic takes polyethylene resin as raw material, adds a few antioxidant, slip agent into it. It can be sorted into LLDPE, LDPE and HDPE.
